About Christopher Tin

Music has an uncanny ability to weave its way into our minds – even years after we’ve heard a song. This December at PWR^South Bend, you can learn all about that from a two-time Grammy award-winning composer!

Welcome Christopher Tin to the stage! Best known for his composition of “Baba Yetu” in Civilization IV, he has also scored more than 20 other games including Offworld Trading Company and Rise of Kingdoms. Baba Yetu was awarded a Grammy in 2011 and it was the first piece of video game music to ever win the coveted award.

Tin will be joining us virtually for a panel talking about his work and for an extended Q&A session. Our in-person moderator for the panel will be a local composer who will also be available for conversation about music & composition after the presentation.
