UPDATE: 5/31/22
Please keep an eye on socials as our team will continue to take everyone’s safety into consideration. Our rules will follow the guidance of health officials but we hope to be in a place where mask-free is reasonably safe for attendees of all ages. Of course, checking in with your doctor and practicing good hygiene is still a good idea.

UPDATE: 10/17/21
Our first in-person event is still on track! We encourage everyone to speak with their doctor about getting the vaccine. Due to the fact that we cannot rigorously verify vaccination at this time, we are following the guidance of local health officials and the CDC. All attendees must wear a mask until the CDC recommendation is lifted. Please also practice other good hygienic practices such as washing hands with soap and water to help keep everyone as safe as possible.

UPDATE: 6/16/2021
With vaccination on a good heading, we are looking forward to getting together in person this winter! Please consult your local health department to make the best decision for yourself. Our team will be adhering to the most strict guidelines possible to ensure that everyone has a safe experience.

ORIGINAL POST, March 2020:
To all potential guests and community members,

Our goal is to bring people together to celebrate our passion for gaming. The current public health crisis highlights how valuable human interaction is, as well as the need to protect not only ourselves but our loved ones. Even though many states are beginning to loosen their restrictions, we have decided through many tough conversations that it is in everyone’s best interest to postpone the convention.

While we are postponing the convention to a date yet to be decided, there are still many ways we can achieve our goal of bringing people together. Some of our activities can be moved to digital platforms we are all very familiar with. Additionally, if everything goes according to the Back on Track Indiana plan, we may be able to host a few smaller group events at the Century Center, such as the collegiate scrimmage. More details on our activities will be released over the next few weeks.

For those who have already registered, you have choices! Please contact our team by emailing info@pwrupsb.com to let us know what you’d like to do. Your options include:

Rest assured that taking care of people is our top priority. You do not need to provide a reason for your request – we will welcome you back with open arms.

We mentioned a commemorative package – if you have not yet registered but wish to support the future of the convention, we’ll make sure you come away with some amazing gifts! Included in the commemorative package are: a t-shirt, a commemorative pin, a poster, and – for the first 32 who sign up – a Discord dinner party on Friday, July 17th, 2020. We will have a few of our panelists as well as our founder hosting a Jackbox & Dinner party via Discord.

Various activities – including the tournament – will still be available virtually. Please continue to check the website and socials for updates. Whether you wish to participate, become a volunteer moderator, or watch from the sidelines, our team wishes you health, wellness, and good games!

All the best,

PwR Up GG Team
